Minor in Writing Capstone Project: Exploration of the College Hookup Culture

For my final project in the Minor in Writing program, I decided to focus on the college hookup culture. At first I was going to write a paper about my finding: articles, news clips, interviews, and statistics. But once I collected all my interviews, I decided to change my plan and create a video instead.  

 

The video pinpoints causes for the dramatic change from the baby-boomer "dating" culture to the millenial "hookup" culture, and addresses the effect on how people view our current college atmosphere. 

 

While discussing the differences between the generations, the video investigates why people commonly consider the millenial generation to be more promiscious.
